Silver Anniversary Appeal

1986-2011

The Community for Reconciliation began its work at Barnes Close in 1986.

All our work relies upon donations so we have launched the Silver Anniversary Appeal to raise money for our future work.

Money raised will be split between all areas of our work in the United Kingdom and overseas.

As well as raising money, the Silver Anniversary Appeal will raise awareness of our work.

We would love you to arrange a fund raising event where you are. We can help you by supplying posters and publicity material

The total raised so far is
£3448

Some fund raising ideas are

  • Sponsored Events – walk, silence, singing, diet, etc
  • Social events – quiz, dinner, harvest supper, games evening
  • Coffee Morning or Afternoon Tea
  • Retiring Collection
  • …and many more

All donations or money raised should be sent as a cheque made payable to ‘Community for Reconciliation’ to the address on the right.

Our work is on-going and long term. Past bequests have helped the present work. If you would like to make a bequest to the Community for Reconciliation in your Will please contact us at the address below for further details.
